Wow, that’s deep bro.
The elephant strolled on the forest floor. Not once was he content, But once, he looked at this ant, The ant said, “Oh dear elephant, what is it that you complain of? The elephant, now enlightened by words of wisdom,
Hot winds blew past him, that he did abhor.
He cursed the earth, for its shortage of cool water
And cursed his friends, for he was much shorter.
Not once.
Not once was he gay,
Because hey, he wanted cold in May!
Who toiled hard in blood and sand.
And the elephant asked him, “Aren’t you sick of life,
The difficulties, and the strife?”
The ant looked up, but first, adjusted his neck.
He smiled, and then he checked.
The elephant was huge, a mammoth creature.
He was powerful and a magnificent creation.
You have so much strength, such might, why do you let your determination blight?
Life will knock us down, but we can choose,
whether or not, to get back up.
You must understand that you get but a single ride on this rock,
You can either enjoy the ride and mock the bumps on the way,
Or whine at every turn,
Until life takes you on a ride,
Completely void of yay.”
pledged to make perseverance a friend, rather than foe.
He was also quite stumped, and managed only to say,
“Wow, that’s deep bro.”
